We’re excited to roll out eBook Crafter Pro v1.1.0. Yes, you read it right, Pro! That means we now also have a free version in the plugins directory.
The free version lets you gather archived posts on your WordPress site, repurpose them in a block editor interface and export the content into a basic PDF.
But the biggest news today is for our Pro users. eBook Crafter Pro now comes with the Prince engine for generating PDFs. Prince has been the gold standard for HTML to PDF conversion since 2003, and it brings in the following:
- High-fidelity rendering.
- Automatic page numbering for Table of Contents.
- Smart page breaks.
- Support for Thai, Indic, and RTL languages.
- Accessibility support in PDFs.
